Although most international students find the Foundation Program to be the ideal pathway to university, some choose to enrol in the Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE) Program.

The TEE Program provides a wider choice of subjects, including specialist subjects such as Art, Drama Studies and a number of foreign languages.  It is the program by which local Western Australian students qualify for entrance to tertiary institutions.

The TEE is similar to the Foundation Program, but does not specifically address the special needs of international students.  Most international students choose the Foundation Program.

Students electing to undertake the TEE will be required to study at least five subjects.  All students must study an English subject.  Students from countries where the language of instruction is not English may choose English as a Second Language (ESL) as their English subject.  The remaining four or five TEE subjects can be selected from the following lists with at least one required from each list
