The final scores for all subjects are based on 50% from continuous College assessments and 50% from external examinations.

WAUFP
To gain admission to university from the WAUFP a student needs to achieve:

1

a score of at least 50% in ELACS and

2 a Combined Percentage Score (CPS) in three selected academic subjects that meet the requirement for entry to the particular course of study at university. If a student elects to study four subjects, the three highest scoring subjects will be used to calculate the average

Final subject scores are normally available within one month of completing the WAUFP. At that time the universities will make formal offers of places to successful students.

Examples of Combined Percentage Scores
are outlined in the Pathways to University prospective.

TEE
Arrangements for students undertaking the TEE program are slightly different.  The requirements are similar in that students must gain 50% in English or English Literature or approximately 58% in ESL to meet the literacy requirement for university entrance.  Students then need to attain similar average scores to the WAUFP in the 3, 4 or 5 other academic subjects they have selected to study.
